European Peace Facility - EU Council approves new aid for Somalia

17/04/24 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 16 April, the ambassadors of the Member States of the European Union, meeting within the Political and Security Committee, approved additional support for the Somali National Army (SNA) and the military component of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) under the ‘European Peace Facility’.
